Mrs.Bennet: Honey, do you remember that young fellow that I told you about?

Mr.Bennet: How could I not?

Mrs.Bennet: Anyways, you need to hurry up and go introduce yourself to him

Before Lady Lucas does

Mr. Bennet: I cannot control what anyone else does, but I have no intrest in going over there

Mrs. Bennet: And do you have no intrest in seeing our daughters married?

Mr.Bennet: Not as much as you do, no

Mrs.Bennet: Hmph!

The text message conversation that I chose to do was between Mr and Mrs. Bennet. It occurs in the beginning of the story when Mrs. Bennet is trying to get her husband to go out and introduce himself to Mr. Bingley. This occurs in pages 2- 6 in the book. I tried to emphasize how desperate Mrs. Bennet was to find husbands for her daughters. In the book it says that it was her goal in life. I chose this part in the story because I felt like it would be easy to represent over text. It was easy for me to visualize this conversation. As I was reading the book, I could almost feel her energy and emotion. It was very understandable considering how important marriage was in society at the time. I could almost see myself being a mother trying to marry my daughter off.

I decided to choose this part over other parts in the book because I felt like it would be easier to display the emotions that she was feeling compared to the other important parts. Mrs. Bennet was extremely clear about what she wanted her husband to do. Also, this part of the story is important because it introduces Mr. Bingley. Without this part, Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy would not have met, which is cruical to the main storyline. Although it is not considered a major part of the story it is extremely important. Mr. and Mrs. Bennet are somewhat minor characters that have a tremendous impact on the overall storyline. I tried to find a way to show just how important this was.

In conclusion, this is a seemingly insignifigant part of the tale, that ends up being a game-changer in this book. Which goes to show that minor characters can truly have a major impact on stories.
